Here comes the snapshot of our Total Net-Worth for Jan 2025.
Net-Worth increase from last month: +58K SGD, -0.94KG Gold
Stock recovery continues, but our property valuation took a hit. Other contributors to the increase are CPF interest and salary.
Our net worth, in terms of Gold, is negative, thanks to the crazy Gold price.
Investment: -1.31% annualized return, incl. dividend
On the road to recovery.

Happy new year and congrats on your net worth recovery! Honestly, I would ignore property valuation and not trust all those home valuation websites. Interest rates going down, property market going to heat up again anyway. :)

DeleteYou have a great point there regarding home valuation sites. I have seen some jumps and drops that obvious do not make sense.
I struggled a lot before deciding to include that in the tracking. There is one practical reason - I would like to have a rough feel how the market is going on a monthly basis.
It would be a journey. I do hope to reach your level of wealth one day :)
